I lay awake and think of you..
The horrible feelings,
The depression and grief..
But most of all,
Love..
Love that grows stronger day by day.
It just won't go away...
It won't fade away..
But nobody could hear her..
She wished for an escape,
She longed to be with him..
But.. Fate seemed to be fully against her.
No one could see how awfully this effected her..
Lost,
Depressed,
Hurt,
And confused..
As she watched her heart and soul,
Shatter like glass on the cold ground..
She had failed,
Failed at her one goal in life..
Making him happy..
All the words she heard,
Tore her apart further..
No matter how much she wants to,
She can never escape.
She promised him,
And she'll keep that promise,
If only to make him happy.
Her biggest fears came true,
Creating her own living nightmare..
So now..
She packs her broken dreams,
Her hope for the future,
The broken pieces of her heart and soul,
As well as her love, growing even stronger.
She takes everything that's left,
Packing it up,
And continues onward.
She just hopes she can do the right thing,
Not to be selfish,
Not out of jealousy,
But to make him happy.
She walks along her path alone now..
But she is not truly alone,
He is within her heart,
Mind,
And soul for all of eternity.
Her hope for the future,
That maybe someday,
They'll be together again,
Happier than they ever were,
And perhaps even closer..
It's this hope..
This love,
That keeps her alive.
